Full-Time Night Support Worler
Job Description
This is a Night Support Worker role in a Drug and Alcohol Rehab.
It is a specialist female residential service, providing drug and alcohol recovery support for women. You will be reliable with the ability to always stay alert during your shift, and you will be required to act with integrity and use your initiative, staying calm in the event of an emergency.
The role
- Working alongside an additional Night Support Worker to support and maintain the safety of the residents and the building.
- You will be responsible for monitoring and controlling access to the site, dealing with emergencies, and communicating any concerns or events to the manager on call and the rest of the team.
- You will have good communication skills with the ability to respond and interact with residents and colleagues.
- You will also have experience in administrative procedures and maintain clear, accurate records.
- To organise and facilitate the residents in preparing for the daily programme and activities.
- To monitor and administer medication to service users.
About You
- An understanding of the complex issues presented by individuals within drug and alcohol recovery.
- Previous experience is desirable, however not essential. Night Support Workers come from many different backgrounds and experiences, and you may have the skills required.
- This is a full-time role working averaging 37.5 hours per week. You will be expected to work a 4-week rolling night shift.
