Job Description
- Assisting with our Speed Studies, Crash Analysis, Signal Warrant Analysis, and Traffic Studies.
- Communicating with key stakeholders and project partners by email, chat, phone, and in-person meetings.
- Assisting with ongoing projects in the Traffic Engineer’s office.
- Majoring in Civil Engineering/Civil Engineering Technology or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal presentation skills with the ability to communicate concepts to a variety of audiences.
- Curiosity, coachability, and willingness to engage.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks/projects, prioritize effectively, and navigate high-pressure situations with tight deadlines.
- You work best in a dynamic environment.
- You must be currently enrolled in a bachelors, masters, or professional-level program at an NC Historically Black College/University or Minority Serving Institution.
- GPA of 2.8+ on 4.0 scale.
- You must attach an unofficial transcript to your application.
