Crawley Foyer provides housing and support to 40 young people. Our experienced and committed team adopt a trauma informed and psychologically informed approach to supporting young people to fulfil their aspirations and ambitions.
We are recruiting a Mobile Night Support Worker to provide mobile support to our teams in 24-hour projects and to ensure that our transitional properties are safe, secure, and welcoming through the night. You will be based at the Crawley Foyer and will support the static night worker there during the night as well as undertaking your mobile duties. These duties include carrying out regular and routine checks of unstaffed supported housing projects for young people, including communal areas, gardens, and the exterior of properties. You will be provided with a van and personal protective equipment.
This role is based on site and you will work four nights on and four off on a seven-day rolling rota, including weekends and bank holidays.

The successful applicant will be experienced in and/or passionate about working directly with young people aged 16-25. You will be able to engage and relate well to this age group and will have a good understanding of the key risks, challenges, and opportunities for young people. You will be a well-rounded coach who can both challenge and support when appropriate. You will also be able to inspire, enhance learning and provoke thoughtful reflection whilst working proactively with young people to develop their talents.
You will be a confident, capable communicator with the with ability to successfully manage challenging situations whilst remaining calm and solution focused. In addition, you will be proactive in you thinking, with the ability to manage lots of tasks at the same time and keep appropriate records. You must hold a current driving licence and are able to drive.
