The client is a digital therapeutics company whose mission is to help patients walk confidently again, by expanding access to patient-centered, world-class therapy. The client’s technology uses sensors and immersive music to deliver evidence-based treatments to improve walking.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

The client is developing next-generation neurotherapeutics that are designed to improve walking, mobility, and related functional outcomes via a proprietary patented technology platform.Together with your newly created team, you will help to continue building and scaling the platform to the new geographical regions, which would help people from all over the world to recover from stroke aftermath and other neurological disorders

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a React Native/Mobile Engineer to support leading a team focused on building clinical software systems that combine neuroscience, biomechanics, and music technology.
Candidates should have direct experience in mobile full-stack development, including developing an application’s algorithms, UI/UX, cloud interfaces, and hardware integrations, and experience in React Native, TypeScript. Kotlin, and Android would be an advantage but not required

TECHNOLOGY STACK

React Native, TypeScript, Kotlin, and Android. The backend is written in Python. The solution is actively using AWS.
Responsibilities
  • Build innovative, high-quality clinical software systems using technologies, such as React Native, TypeScript, Kotlin, and Android
  • Able to learn and grow together above knowing any particular technology
  • Contribute to the client’s user-centered design process, including working with stroke survivors and other target users to test and refine the product for usability and safety
  • Work collaboratively in a small, focused product team with other developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to develop the application’s algorithms, UI/UX, cloud interfaces, and hardware integrations in an Agile Scrum framework
  • Support continuous improvements to a team’s day-to-day processes and a culture of learning
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience, at least 1+ year of mobile experience
  • Direct experience in mobile full-stack development, including developing an application’s algorithms, UI/UX, cloud interfaces, and hardware integrations
  • Experience in React Native, and TypeScript, (Kotlin + Android would be an advantage)
  • Experience with building and deploying a mobile app in a production environment
  • Experience performing code and design reviews
  • Experience building unit tests or other test automation
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging hardware
  • A passion for developing user-focused applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Agile and Scrum experience
  • Spoken English
