Full-Time Membership Processor
Job Description
Kansas National Education Association (KNEA) is seeking qualified candidates for the Membership Processor position.
Position Description: The Membership Processor works in tandem with the Membership Specialist, UniServs, local associations, and members to process, maintain, and manage all aspects of an intricate association membership system. The position offices at KNEA Headquarters in Topeka, Kansas.
Qualifications:
The position requires:
- Proficiency with various computer programs, including Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Word, and ease with learning new systems
- Strong oral and written communication
- Excellent organization
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively under the pressure of deadlines and high-quality standards, using good judgment in effectively managing changing priorities and resolving conflicts
- Ability to work effectively as a member of a team
- Ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality, support KNEA’s mission, and work in an ever-changing environment
Position Responsibilities:
- Works closely with the KNEA Membership Specialist, UniServs, local associations, and members on membership processes, payments, records, and reporting
- Accurately processes, monitors, and maintains membership applications, rosters, changes, cancellations, and records
- Answers and triages calls and handles office correspondence
- Assists in preparing membership materials
- Serves as the primary backup for the receptionist and covers for the Membership Specialist and certain duties for the Assistant to the Business Services Manager, as necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary $36,000-$45,000, commensurate with experience
