Part-Time Membership Engagement Coordinator (Brackenhurst)
Job Description
NTSU has an exciting opportunity for a Membership Engagement Coordinator (Brackenhurst) to join our Student Voice team for 9 months of maternity cover. The post holder will be responsible for developing and engaging communities of students based at NTU’s Brackenhurst campus and will work closely with colleagues and officers at NTSU & NTU. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work on interesting projects, including event planning, facilitation of elections, and training and supporting student groups.
You will have a flexible approach to work and be willing to support the broader work of the Student Voice and membership teams. Evening and weekend work will be required at certain times of the year, depending on the organisation’s needs.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain productive and positive working relationships with various stakeholders. In addition, you will be highly organised, self-motivated, and able to work on your initiative with minimal supervision.
The role is an in-person position and requires face to face support for students. It will be based primarily at NTU’s Brackenhurst campus (https://www.ntu.ac.uk/about-us/campuses/brackenhurst-campus), however travel to other sites will be expected at times. The role is part-time, and the 22.5 hour split across the week is flexible. Preferences will be discussed at interview. This role is a 9-month maternity cover.
