Maths and English Instructor 

£21,942 – £22,470 per annum, pro rata 

17 hours per week 

The working pattern is to be confirmed 

33 weeks per annum, paid for 37.46 weeks per annum  

Based primarily at our Common Leys Campus 

Permanent 

Start date: 30th August 2022 

The GCSE 16-18 English and Maths Team are looking for a passionate, patient and enthusiastic member of staff to support our lecturers in GCSE and FS L2 English and Maths lessons at the Common Leys and Witney campus.  You will be based at the farm three mornings a week with one morning on our Witney campus. If you are patient, highly organised and can work independently, someone who understands how students can struggle learning English or Maths, who can unlock these barriers, this is the job for you.   Being an Instructor is a pivotal and rewarding role within our Team and has a huge impact on student engagement and progress.  

Common Leys Farm is a fabulous place to work; staff and students are welcoming, and it is situated in a picturesque setting. To ensure you build close links with our Team of Instructors you will be based at the Witney campus one day a week.  

You should have at least a level 2 English and Maths qualification and a willingness to familiarise yourself with the GCSE English and Maths syllabuses.
