Job title: Materials Support Coordinator
Location: Jacksonville, FL (Remote Okay)
Duration: 10 months
Job Description:
Responsible for day-to-day activities for inventory and non-inventory product, including the accuracy, functionality, scheduling and delivery of product to user areas. Accountable for ordering, identifying and recommending the refurbishment or revitalization of corporate assets. Coordinate with key stake holders, including IT Service Desk, Facilities Planning, Occupational Health, Facilities Operations, and external vendors for the utilization and support of employees. Utilize strong understanding of corporate contractual agreements with key vendors to ensure compliance with service level agreements. Support Corrigo, Service Center tickets, ergonomic and environmental health requests. Documentation of departmental reports.
Essentials:
- Manage all activities associated with inventory management, order management, warehousing, and replenishment of corporate assets. (50%)
- Data entry of inventory items, as well as departmental chargebacks, into the corporate ERP – PeopleSoft system. (25%)
- Negotiate and schedule vendor activities for warranty work as well as maintain agreed-upon service level agreements. (15%)
- Provide guidance and training for temporary staff members. (5%)
- Accountable for tracking and updating departmental reports. (5%)
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year related work experience, including experience in a warehouse and inventory environment and experience working with materials handling equipment.
- Experience with steel case furniture to include repair and adjustments.
- Experience with Service Center / Office supplier site.
- Ability to effectively use multiple methods of communication to correspond to customers, such as telephone, email and face to face interactions
- Required to utilize or wear protective safety gear, such as steel toed shoes, as necessary, while operating material handling equipment and pulling of all product.
- Ability to move, transport or position 50 – 75 pound boxes or furniture product to a height of 6 feet for approximately 40%-50% of the time.
- Frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions
Preferred:
- Forklift / Pallet Jack Certification.
- People Soft Inventory module experience
- Experience reading and interpreting basic blueprints
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft office products, to include: Word, Excel, SharePoint.
