The individual is responsible for leadership in the design and implementation of Master Data management and governance strategies across the commercial workstreams. Strategies are to be developed within the context of business processes and associated master data necessary for the SAP platform and non-SAP business operations. The responsibility of the incumbent includes assisting in defining the organizational goals, measures of success and adopting and refining known process definitions and operating procedures. The individual must ensure that the design includes functional capability such as the definition of data policy, execution of change management processes for data definitions and business rules, measurement, monitoring, and reporting on data quality, resolving data usage issues, and resolving business issues and continuous improvements through data analytics.

The individual must demonstrate organizational leadership, the ability to manage a service to sustain and improve operational capability, and the ability to manage internal customers and demand for services. Ability to stay current with industry best practices and participate as a member of internal/external communities of governance practice. Responsibilities can be national or local depending on position within the business process but encompasses all master data principles. The position requires strategic development for data architecture across business processes and integration to both SAP and non-SAP systems.

Responsibilities Include:

· Leads end to end understanding and coordination of commercial master data

· Interacts with business stakeholders to assess and understand business requirements, communicate project plans and status

· Interact as a leader on local and regional projects under the direction of Director of Master Data

· Manages change to data definition and rules as it relates to master data in the customer, pricing, sales areas

· Represent local business processes and data throughout central organization changes in order to clearly identify and communicate impacts

· Collaborates with third party partners and applications to successfully maintain end to end data management

· Monitors, measures, and sustains data quality and resolves issues

· Manages and communicates business value of master data management and data governance principles

· Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams

Position Requirements:

· EDUCATION:

o BS in Business Management, Information Systems or equivalent required

· EXPERIENCE:

o Minimum 10 years of experience in Master Data/Data Governance

o Demonstrated complex system upgrades and implementations

· TECHNICAL:

o Proficient with Microsoft Office

o Strong SAP Master Data knowledge requested

o Experience with MDM tools and applications a plus

o Experience with HP-ALM, Octane or ServiceNow a plus

o Experience with Agile methodologies and tools a plus
