Full-Time Marketplace Operator

We have an exciting opportunity for an entry-level live gig enthusiast with a knack for attention to detail to help us curate Tixel’s gig guide and maintain Tixel’s marketplace for our fans. This role will report to the Marketplace Operations Manager and would be vital to upholding the quality of events that fans expect to find on Tixel’s platform.

The person who is successful in this role will be resourceful in finding the most in-demand tours and gigs around Australia and, hell, the world! They will be obsessed with ensuring the marketplace is a well-oiled machine, getting all the details accurate and keeping the standards of event information at a five-star rating.

This person will be eager to learn more about the operational aspects of a fast-growing start-up and willing to challenge themselves beyond their comfort zone to allow for continuous growth. They will effectively engage with stakeholders across the business and work to understand how they can help to improve everyone’s experience with Tixel’s gig guide.

Responsibilities

  • Being the first to know about the hottest stadium tours and trending events across our key markets
  • Data entry and maintenance of event information in Tixel’s database
  • Monitoring, mitigating and resolving ticket transfer concerns to ensure fans have what they need to get into their event
  • Collaborate with the Marketplace Operations Manager on strategic initiatives involving partnered events and continuously improving the fan experience on Tixel
  • A commitment to achieving assigned daily KPIs
  • Being an overall admin and data-entry rockstar!

Skills and Experience

  • A team player with a “let’s do this” attitude
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to multitask & work on multiple projects
  • Efficiently inputting data with maximum accuracy
  • Ability to understand data structure and relevant fields
  • Excel and/or Google Sheets experience is strongly recommended.
  • Strong attention to detail and aesthetics
  • A proactive self-starter with the confidence to ask questions when needed
  • Ability to stay in tune with Tixel’s target market and what they expect from us
