Full-Time Marketing Solutions Lead Neurology
Job Description
To strengthen our Marketing Team, based in our Oakville, Ontario offices, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: Marketing Solutions Lead, Neurology.
As a Marketing Solutions Lead, you will serve as a key member of the Neurology Leadership Team (NLT), provides commercial leadership and oversight for the neurology franchise. You will stay abreast of current trends in digital and omnichannel marketing and lead development of strategic brand plans. You will maintain a high level of disease and product knowledge for relevant therapy areas (epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, neuromuscular diseases) and collaborate with members of the neurology patient value unit (NPVU) to create programs and materials to create patient value and allow UCB to achieve its financial and non-financial objectives.

- Develop materials and programs designed to help HCPs match the right UCB product/solution to the right patient
- Develop and implement digital/omnichannel strategy and plans
- Work with ecosystem and medical leads to design and provide training programs for Healthcare Provider Partners (HCPP) to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and skills to be effective in their role
- Conduct market research and analyze market data to derive insights to drive strategic plans
- Manage promotional budget and optimize spend across the marketing mix
- Lead annual strategic planning process for the neurology portfolio
- Develop and execute pre- and post- launch plans, including financial forecasts and analysis
You will contribute by:
- Creating clear and comprehensive strategic plans
- Implementing and executing those plans to deliver optimal patient value and thereby achieve UCB’s financial and non-financial objectives
- Leading the creation of impactful promotional materials and programs including optimal omnichannel mix; evidence to support effectiveness of promotional materials/programs
- Building strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, HCPPs, and external customers

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors’ Degree required, MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience; including 3+ years marketing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Digital marketing experience and/or capabilities an asset
- Specialty sales experience preferred
- Experience in neurology preferred
- Experience in development and implementation of brand life-cycle management strategies
- Strong analytical skills; understanding of forecasting principles and connection to market/product opportunity
- Comprehensive understanding of compliance, legal, regulatory, reimbursement landscapes impacting pharmaceutical product marketing
- Demonstrated experience establishing and engaging key customer groups and other important stakeholders to gain deep insights to evolve brand strategy and communication
- Proven track record of identifying customer needs, extracting key insights, and translating these into meaningful value propositions, and tactics
- Proven track record of success showing strong strategic thinking, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Evidence of developing compelling brand strategy, forecasts, and commercialization strategies
- Demonstrated success in developing, executing, and measuring complex marketing programs
- Experience in activating consumers through targeted, efficient multichannel, digital, personal and non-personal activities
- Ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams and external partners through influence, persuasion, negotiation, and facilitation skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage external agencies
- Solid business acumen with excellent verbal and written communication skills for a wide variety of audiences, including senior management.
