About Us – The Cheshire and Warrington Pledge

The Cheshire and Warrington Pledge puts employers at the heart of inspiring, informing and communicating with the next generation in Cheshire and Warrington.  The partnership was launched in June 2019 and is made up of 9 local Pledges that cover the whole of the Cheshire and Warrington sub-region.  The Partnership brings over 500 organisations together, including 400 employers, all of the secondary schools and FE colleges and most special needs schools, youth community and charitable groups, local authorities and employer led organisations.

Working as part of the Pledge team based at The Cheshire & Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership and working closely with our delivery partner Youth Federation Ltd, your role will be aligned to the LEPs vision for Cheshire and Warrington to be the healthiest, most sustainable and inclusive growing economy in the UK.

This position is 100% funded by ESF working on the Cheshire & Warrington Pledge programme.

The Role

We are looking for a talented & passionate individual to join our inspirational team as a Marketing Executive. As the central point of contact for marketing communications on The Pledge programme, you will engage with a variety of stakeholders, clients, suppliers & employers, to build positive relationships where the opportunities of skills programmes can be widely shared within both employer-centred & educational settings.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing web content & overseeing communications plans
  • Managing all aspects of social media activity across a variety of platforms
  • Generating ideas for online & print projects
  • Writing tactical press releases & establishing effective coverage
