Job Description
Title: Marketing Coordinator
Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer
Pay Range: $45,000 – $60,000 annually
Summary of Duties: The Marketing Coordinator serves in administrative and team-support capacities in the Marketing department. The Marketing Coordinator assists in developing marketing strategies, organizing marketing campaigns, and maintaining key performance indicators. This work will be a critical factor for the smooth operation of the Marketing department and the attainment of its goals, as well as for the long-term growth of the organization.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities, Functions:
- Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities
- Support marketing staff in organizing and content creation of various projects
- Collaborate with the graphic design, content/copywriting and editorial teams to ensure the delivery of effective campaigns
- Update spreadsheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information
- Assist in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success
- Communicate directly with internal and external clients and encourage trusting relationships
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or relevant field
- Proven experience as a marketing assistant
- Good understanding of office management and marketing principles Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
- Well-organized with a patron-oriented approach
- Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Monday.com, Google Suite, Wordfly
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management and Content Management System software (knowledge of Tessitura is a plus)
- Excellent communication and people skills
