Abingdon & Witney College are looking for a content creator to join our marketing team and help craft communications on site, in print, and via digital and social channels, helping us build our brand and engage with the local community.
The role would be well suited to someone journalistic, with a love of language and a flair for using it simply and effectively.
You’ll be building relationships with curriculum teams, ensuring that we promote their areas to keep the website fresh and relevant. You will be someone who is keen to tell our stories and communicate our achievements to the local communities we’re part of. You’ll also work alongside other members of our team to generate ideas and helping to shape future campaigns.
This is an exciting position as no two days are the same. You can expect to be doing anything from updating website content, writing news stories to share with our press contacts, and creating copy for our next prospectus and our socials channels.
The content creator’s role is unique and will evolve as we diversify the way we communicate with prospective and current students. We welcome applications from confident communicators who want to take ownership and be part of influencing the college identity.
In return, Abingdon & Witney College offer excellent benefits to our employees including generous pension and holiday schemes (with potential Christmas closure days), continued professional development, flexible working options, corporate gym membership, cycle/tech scheme and much more.
Closing date: 28th September 2022 (midnight)
Interview date: 10th October 2022
AWC values diversity and encourages applications from all sections of the community. We are committed to safeguarding and expect all our employees and volunteers to share this commitment. We are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and all appointments are subject to satisfactory clearances including enhanced DBS checks
