Job description:
We are seeking a Marketing Associate with a positive, can-do mentality to join our growing team. The Marketing Associate will be responsible for executing marketing tasks that range from social media management to website updates and event coordination to award submissions. In addition to serving Pivot’s internal marketing needs, there is also the opportunity to support client projects when needed. An integral part of Pivot’s growing marketing team, this position is critical to ongoing communications and marketing efforts that celebrate the agency’s success.
Role breakdown:
40% Content Creation
Under the direction of, and in collaboration with the Marketing + Growth Manager, this role will be responsible for drafting baseline content creation for digital channels such as social media and website. The role will also assist with the maintenance and improvements of branded materials such as decks, informational sheets, and other sales materials.
40% Marketing Execution
In addition to assisting in the production of marketing content, this role’s other focus will be to execute on various marketing functions including the publishing of social media posts, newsletter compilation, team event management, and award support and submissions.
20% Database Management
A marketing campaign is only as good as the data it is using. This role will assist in keeping our contact lists up-to-date and properly segmented via HubSpot. Monitoring metrics to make sure the correct people are getting the right information.
Core skills: 2-3 years of marketing experience, social and digital marketing, CMS (we use WordPress) and/or event management
Bonus skills: Copywriting, CRM experience (we use HubSpot), eye for design
