Current’s Marketing team is dedicated to growing the user base of Current members. We execute across the full menu of marketing channels: digital, influencer, affiliate, TV, direct mail, podcasts, radio, etc. We partner closely with Product and Finance to optimize towards acquiring high quality users that will engage deeply with our products.
We’re looking for a Manager of Marketing Strategy & Operations to join our growing Marketing team in New York. You will work closely with the marketing leadership team to drive towards common goals and clearly communicate our highest priority projects across the company. You are comfortable with ambiguity and identifying gaps where they exist and proposing solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate as a thought partner with VP of Marketing to drive marketing strategy, including hiring and org structure, budget allocation, payback frameworks
- Lead project management of all presentations for VP of Marketing, including quarterly board meetings
- Build deep relationships with marketing leadership team (growth marketing, channel owners, brand, creative, data, PR, etc) and cross-functional partners in Product and Finance to drive cross-functional alignment and optimize efficiency of marketing initiatives
- Partner with marketing leadership on strategic projects, defining processes, and clearing roadblocks where they exists
- Ability to step-in and lead key initiatives where a clear owner does not yet exist in the org structure
ABOUT YOU:
- 4-6 years of strategy, consulting, or project management experience, ideally with a minimum of 1 year focused on marketing, either directly within a company or through a consulting engagement(s)
- Excellent project management and written presentation skills
- Demonstrated success with leading cross-functional teams towards a common goal
- Ability to work with both high level strategy decisions and lowest level of detail
- Experience with direct-to-consumer or Fintech companies a plus, but not required
- MBA preferred, but not required
