Full-Time Manager, Human Resources Operations

The Manager, Human Resources Operations will work closely with the Human Resources (HR) Team to facilitate the activities necessary to meet HR and company objectives. This role will execute the HR Operations and Total
Rewards strategy and support HR initiatives. They will manage the HR operational activities including Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) data management and full cycle of people transactions, policy development, lifecycle processes (performance reviews), HR related compliance inclusive of government reporting, HR Metrics, and related reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high quality HR transactional data management; oversee day-to-day transactions, reports and ad hoc requests for data; own employee data and accuracy; partner with Finance on pay administration and compliance.
  • Develop dashboards and own monthly, quarterly and annual HR Operations metrics; examine and interpret data, identify trends, translate into recommendations and communicate to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Ensure system set up and self-service capabilities for the People Processes including mid-year check ins, talent reviews, open enrollment, performance reviews, objective setting, quarterly and annual compensation (merit and bonus) and individual development plan creation and annual COLLective employee survey
  • Partner with HR team to roll out HR policies and requirements, execute tactics supporting interdependency with HRIS, payroll, Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other vendor systems.
  • Serve as administrator of all HR systems; collaborate with vendors to execute against HR Operations objectives including integration, user training and experience.
  • Organize and facilitate HR Operations project kick-off meetings, status meetings, timelines, work plans, calendars and other relevant project meetings and After-Action Reviews.
  • Execute HR related Compliance; acts as main point of contact for any internal and external audits regarding HR processes; manages quarterly random drug screen testing, ensures local, state and federal government compliance and reporting requirements are met such as EEO-1, OSHA, Affirmative Action and Vets-100
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders including HRIS vendors, outside counsel, OSHA, workers compensation insurance and other resources to understand and ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws and requirements.
  • Ensure timely data management updates and QC with Total Rewards internal partners and vendors; HSA payment schedules, COBRA, Life and Disability, Equity programs, Incentive Compensation.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders in Compliance, Finance, Commercial Operations and Sales Training to ensure consistent onboarding and employee experience.
  • Serve as resource for HR Operations, HRIS, policies and process questions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, PHR certification preferred.
  • 4-6 years of experience in HR Operations including HRIS and data management, policy development and delivery, immigration support, government reporting and compliance administration.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and perform within deadlines.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills and ability to balance strategic thinking with detailed analysis.
  • Proven ability to execute versus deadlines and influence without direct reporting relationship.
  • Strong project management, organizational and analytical skills; ability to balance strategic thinking with bottoms-up detailed analysis.
  • Proficient knowledge of employment law and understanding of HR and industry related compliance requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HRIS Systems and system integrations required.
