The Machine Test Technician will support the engineering department to execute engineering tests, machine build and commissioning, and the efficient use of test facilities and capabilities in a fast-paced ISO 9001 environment.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Must have strong mechanical background.
- Able and willing to work in a heavy duty/industrial machine shop environment.
- Support engineers in development, analysis of engineering tests, and production of machines.
- Lead and complete assigned tasks and projects to meet customer requirements and expectations within time and budget constraints.
- Resolve issues, report observations, and results to customers and engineers with high degree of quality and professionalism.
- Keep test facility and operational areas in order, maintain equipment, and work area in compliance with 5S protocol.
- Prepare and store necessary test documents in AS9100 standard.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Must be a US citizen.
- 2 years of vocational/technical training; Associates degree desired.
- 5+ years of experience with a industrial/mechanical background. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Experienced with manual machining (Bridgeport mill, Lathe, etc.).
- Basic electrical knowledge.
- Must be able to read engineering blueprints (mechanical required, electrical desired).
- Must be able to use tools such as torque wrenches and power tools.
- Computer literate, MS Office Suite.
- Some knowledge of 5S, ISO 9001/ AS9100.
- Good verbal and written skills in English.
- Some travel required, sometimes international.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
- Frequently required to walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
- Occasionally required to stand and sit.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to use 500 ft-lb torque wrench.
- Must be able to work in an environment of various temperatures that can vary from very cold to very hot within reasonable limits.
- Being able to and available to travel to domestic and international destinations for work.
- Alcohol / Drug testing required-FAA requirement.
- Eye Exam-ISO Requirement.
