Full-Time Los Angeles Program Coordinator

This position will focus on volunteer and team member recruitment, building partnerships in the local sober community, and leading activities such as CrossFit, yoga, kickboxing, art nights, book clubs, and socials. The ideal candidate will have experience with multiple technology platforms, especially Salesforce. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive Phoenix team member recruitment and engagement in LA
- Manage a strong volunteer program, especially through recruitment, engagement and retention of new volunteers
- Build connections in the local recovery community, as well as partnerships with relevant organizations and affinity groups
- Facilitate 5-10 events weekly in a safe, supportive and nurturing environment
- Utilize various technology and social media platforms, including Salesforce
- Commute regularly for community outreach and work remotely
- Complete other duties as assigned
- Work evening and weekend hours: this is not a 9 AM-5 PM role
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of relevant work or volunteer experience (community outreach, volunteer engagement, project coordination, etc.)
- Strong community relations skills
- Experience coaching, instructing, or leading one or more activities
- Background in volunteer recruitment
- Organizational and time management skills, as well as adaptability
- Entrepreneurial spirit, humility, and integrity
- Proficiency with technology
PREFERENCES

- Relevant professional or personal connections
- Certifications in relevant athletic disciplines (CF-L1, L2, or L3; NASM, NSCA, ACSM, or ACE Personal Trainer; AMGA-CWI, SPI, or Rock Guide; IMBA-L1; YT-200, etc.)
- Fluency in two or more languages
