Full-Time Loan Servicing Operations Manager II (Req#2234)

Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations performed within assigned areas of loan servicing. Ensure activities performed adhere to standard operating procedures, state and federal regulations and Bank policy. Proactively address potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Provide guidance, when required, to ensure loan terms are accurately maintained in the Bank’s core loan servicing system safeguarding data integrity and loan performance. Serve as subject matter expert of both loan products and system functionality.
- Ensure standard operating procedures are consistent with regulatory requirements, Bank policies, and strategic objectives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and technology adoption to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Develop team through coaching and performance management. Identify individual skills and job knowledge, maximize strengths, and develop un-actualized skills accordingly.
- Understand system transactions performed and associated mapping to general ledger. Monitor general ledger variances and ensure adherence to financial controls and governess.
- Oversee relationships with external service providers, ensure their performance meets expectations and complies with contractual agreements, and we are using their technologies to the fullest extent.
- Focus on improving the overall customer experience by ensuring streamlined loan processes, quality control, timely communication, and excellent service.
- Oversee the critical system testing activities as required for upgrades and enhancements deployed for the Bank’s core loan servicing system.
- Support critical strategies of business partners in providing superior service, implementation of new products/services and in meeting current and future financial/data reporting requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 5+ years Loan Servicing Manager experience
- Strong knowledge of servicing related regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient at influencing and collaborating with those outside of reporting authority to achieve shared business goals and objectives.
