Key Responsibilities:
Act as a committed LGBTQ+ Counselor within the Stonewall Liaison initiative. Engage in relationship-building activities between Stonewall Columbus and our network of partners;
Be present at events and take on public speaking roles; and
Independently manage your workload while being accessible to program requirements.
Conduct bi-weekly group therapy sessions in the evenings:
* Collect information on program results
* Handle new case intakes effectively
* Assist in preparing evaluation reports
* Schedule efficiently using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) technology
Qualifications:
- LISW, PC or IMFT credentialing required
- Ability to work independently required
- Diagnostic Assessment experience with use of ICD-10 & DSM-V to write psycho-social histories
- Experience counseling youth-adult age groups, as well as mental health or substance use disorder patients
- Ability to provide group therapy
- Provide 1,248 patient service hours annually (104/month);
- Must meet company credentialing requirements;
- Pre-employment criminal background check and drug testing are mandatory
