The Position: Recruiter (Independent Contractor)
The Foraker Group is seeking candidates for the position of Leadership Transition Recruiter as an independent contractor. The Recruiter is a critical member of the Foraker Leadership Transition team. Under direction of the Executive Transition Guide, the Recruiter supports the search process to develop a strong candidate pool that meets the requirements of the client as they evolve through the search process. The Recruiter may engage in a variety of activities, including sourcing, networking, conducting national and Alaska specific outreach, evaluating and prescreening candidates, and other actions to support the search. Searches will primarily be for nonprofit executive and C-Suite positions but may also include highly specific nonprofit or tribal staff leadership positions.

Compensation: The Recruiter is an independent contractor and compensated on an hourly basis based on hours authorized for each specific engagement. Compensation ranges from $65-$70/hr. The Recruiter and the Executive Transition Guide will agree on desired results, activities to achieve the results, and an up-to-maximum number of hours to be paid at an agreed rate for achieving these results. Changes in the results and/or the hours worked require mutual agreement of both parties.
Competition: This consultant is required to sign a non-compete for any consulting work in the nonprofit sector (including tribes) in Alaska. Consultant will be asked to acknowledge any pre-existing relationships in Foraker’s service area.
