Full-Time Lead Product Designer
Job Description
Pipedream is looking for an experienced product designer to help us scale from 250k+ users to millions by designing elegant solutions to challenging problems faced by developers across the technical spectrum. Together, we can:
- Disrupt how integrations are built, run and maintained
- Democratize the power of APIs and serverless technology
- Redefine what users expect from code and no code tools
As the first designer to join the team, you’ll have a direct impact on the success of the business and the opportunity to shape the future of Pipedream’s design practice. Projects you’ll work on include:
- Developing the overall product and design direction of the company
- Creating a component library to improve product usability, consistency and development velocity
- Developing wireframes and prototypes for new product initiatives (e.g., Github integration, workflow orchestration)
- Establishing a data-driven practice to optimize the user experience
- Developing a unique voice for Pipedream and adding personality to the product
Minimum Requirements
- Multiple years of experience leading design for modern, internet-scale applications
- Excellent design sense and familiarity with the latest UX trends
- Experience designing products for a technical audience (e.g., API products, developer tools) or the ability to write code
- Ability to design first-class consumer experiences for developers
- Experience maintaining a design library in collaboration with engineering
- Ability to balance the trade-offs between progress and perfection
Bonus points
- You have experience designing workflow, automation and SaaS products
- You are familiar with GitHub and the software development lifecycle
- You have built and led a design team
