About the role:

The Lead, Investments and Partnerships provides procurement advice and support; grant round management and administration; and indirect leadership and supervision of the Investments & Partnerships Assistants.

This exciting full-time, ongoing opportunity works as part of the Investments and Partnerships team and has a close working relationship across the broader organisation, as well as with relevant sector networks.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing advice, guidance and support on the operational process for the procurement of goods and services to maximise social impact and administrative efficiencies
  • Leading the delivery of VicHealth grant rounds
  • Coordinating internal and external resources to effectively and efficiently deliver on procurement activities, grant rounds and associated projects
  • Developing and maintaining procurement and grant project management plans to ensure effective and efficient operations
  • Leading the identification of improvements in grant funding and procurement approaches and processes that are aligned with current best practice

 

About you:

We’re looking for someone who has strong business operations and project management skills with a continuous improvement mindset. If you have well-developed stakeholder management and communication skills, you will thrive in this collaborative role.

Tenure: Full-time, ongoing

Classification: VicHealth Grade D

Qualifications and experience:

  • Relevant qualifications, or at least 3 years’ experience working in a procurement, contract management, project management, business operations or grant management role
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new approaches and apply them in practice.
  • Experience working within the public health, community or government sectors (desired, not essential).
