Lead Cloud Engineer – Salary up to £43,000 with potential £4000 Bonus – (2 Days a Month on site)

Yolk Recruitment is working in partnership with Natural Resources Wales to find them high calibre technical talent from across Wales. We are currently working with them to recruit a Lead Cloud Engineer.
This opportunity is an ideal role for someone with expertise in both Azure Cloud and DevOps pipelines. While the role will be predominantly focussed on deploying specific applications to Azure and maintaining a strong DevOps pipeline; there will also be a need as a team to support any high level Cloud Support Tickets that the 3rd line support team escalate.
The Role
You will be taking joint Lead on the Deployment of the Flood Warning System into Azure, while ensuring the live service applications are kept well maintained.
Lead the deployment of mission critical applications to an Azure infrastructure
Designing solid and secure Infrastructure as code
Building efficient DevOps pipelines for deployment
Ensure the continuous health of applications and their sustained availability
Requirements
You will have a really good understanding of Azure DevOps, as well as hoe to support live cloud infrastructure.
Good knowledge and understanding of deployment into Azure
Ability to effectively deploy Infrastructure as Code
Understanding and fixing high level support requests
Ability to lead cloud change
