Job Description
The Apex Law Group PLLC is a boutique business, IP, and nonprofit law firm in Seattle. We are seeking a flexible law clerk to provide support in all of Apex’s practice areas.
Apex’s law clerks will take significant responsibility over matters and work directly with associates and partners within the firm. Our firm enables our law clerks to gain hands-on experience working directly with clients and career development through in-office mentoring.
Apex offers a collaborative hybrid-workplace where we exchange ideas and brainstorm on creative solutions for our clients. Our office is a coffee/bagel-loving, pet friendly environment. We pride ourselves in building lasting relationships with our clients and community members through our legal work, education workshops, and pro bono work.
Our law clerks assist with the following:
– Research and memo drafting;
– Corporate formation drafting and filing with state and federal agencies;
– Filing and maintaining trademarks and copyright;
– Drafting, revising, and editing transactional documents, including but not limited to contracts; and
– General office management.
Apex is looking for a law clerk to preferably start in March or April 2023. We are looking for 15 to 20 hours a week. We will review applications as they are submitted and contact applicants for interview times.
The last day to submit resumes is 03/31/2023, or until a candidate is hired. Interviews will occur on a rolling basis based on the order resumes are collected, and are expected to take place between 2/01/23 – 04/01/23. There are two interview rounds, with each interview being held with at least 2 Apex team members.
