With a customer-first attitude, the kitting specialist, in collaboration with the Inventory and Picking Supervisor and Production Manager, supports the work of the employees on the Production floor, and has a strong sense of how the Production operation supports the Production department mission..
- Checks production orders and ensures all required components are in stock
- Monitors inventory and works with Inventory Control Specialist to ensure adequate supplies
- Pulls components from inventory based upon component number/lot/expiration date
- Prints labels and bar codes, for jobs as required by production order
- Utilizes proprietary customer software to review orders, print needed documentation, and other tasks required by customer
- Provides support for production staff so they can effectively perform their assigned job duties, including training on tasks as needed
- Assists Inventory and Picking Supervisor in monitoring work area for cleanliness and safety
- Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works overtime as required to meet workload demands. Performs other related duties as required.
- While performing duties of this job, employee regularly uses hands and arms to reach materials. The employee frequently stands and walks for extended periods and occasionally sits. Occasionally exposed to minor cuts and injuries. Employee converses verbally with others in person. Vision demands include close relatively detailed vision when focusing on work, including inspection of product for quality, numeric, and color correctness. Employee occasionally lifts varying weights up to 50 pounds when moving boxes, equipment, or supplies.
- An appropriate combination of education, training, course work and experience may qualify an applicant to demonstrate required knowledge, skills, and abilities. An example of a high school diploma or equivalent.

- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with staff, individuals, employees, associates, supervisors, partners, and customers
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive subject matter, pay close attention to detail, prioritize multiple tasks effectively, adapt quickly to changing environments, and exercise patience when teaching and coaching others
- Ability to document identity and employment eligibility within three (3) days of original appointment as a condition of employment in compliance with Immigration Reform and Control Act requirements.
- Ability to meet background check requirements and supply required documentation as outlined by Easterseals Redwood policies.
