Responsibilities
- Prepare food and cook vegetables, entrees, coffee, sauces, meats
- Cleans dishes, utensils, pots, pans and places in assigned storage areas in an organized and orderly manner
- Cleans, sweeps, wipes down, all general dining, kitchen, or storage areas (in some cases), spike rooms, and equipment all floors
- May occasionally prepare food or cook vegetables, entrees, coffee, sauces, meats
- Sweeps, mops, scrubs, strips, extract, wax, buff, vacuums, all types of floors
- Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of personal work area, entire kitchen, serving line, dining room, lunch room and dish pit area
- Washes pots, dishes, glasses, cups and all other kitchen equipment after each meal and as needed
- Assists with putting away groceries using the First In, First Out method (FIFO)
- Sweeps and mops kitchen/dining room floor after each meal
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining area
