Full-Time Key Account Manager – Sales
Job Description
This role requires a dynamic, forward thinking, dedicated sales professional that is capable of growing sales from an inside and outside position where required. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for working with prospects and existing customers of Axiom, and satisfying customer’s needs, while maintaining gross profit margins, all with a goal of growing the sales in North America. It is the responsibility of the Key Account Manager to nurture and further develop relationships with existing Axiom customers as determined by the Sales Director within North America, recognizing that providing expedient quality service is crucial to successfully serving our current and future clients. Duties:
- Conduct Business sales phone calls using CRM with the intent to regularly be in communication with existing customer accounts
- Build business through all forms of sales generation, including prospecting for new orders and lead generation within the region, which involves phone calls and other forms of contact
- Service existing accounts and obtains orders by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing sales outlets and other trade factors
- Work with the Marketing Team to follow up on leads and qualify contacts as established by Marketing
- Prepare quotes, data entry and recording as required, with conversion to Sales Orders
- Identify and call on prospective customers to obtain their business as well as maintain existing accounts
- Responsible for maintaining and tracking ALL sales activity and recording in the company’s CRM system
- Prepare and update customer lists and prospect database including updating and filing
- Develop, prepare and set up client presentations as required
- Update pending quotes and proposals

- A minimum of 5 years of successful selling experience with a proven track record of achieving good results (required)
Qualifications:
- Completion of secondary education
- College Certificate or Diploma an asset
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be assertive, confident, takes initiative, and can lead others towards accomplishment of corporate goals
- Ability to prospect, network, cold call and sell by phone
- Self-motivated, accountable and possesses excellent organizational and communication skills (both written and oral)
- A “can do” attitude, a high drive, and pleasant demeanor
- Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint)
- A proven track record in pre‐sales and sales related activities
