Description

Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing daily activities at our customer in the designated territory. This is a sales and service focused position which will involve development and implementation of sales plans on new opportunities with the direction of the Area Manager including documenting ROI after the closure of the program. The Key Account Manager will also be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and prioritizing an accurate and current sales funnel in SFDC.

Other Role Responsibilities Include

  • Review treatment programs and processes with accounts ensuring effective applications through routine testing and monitoring resulting in customer satisfaction and business retention
  • Maintain and build business/customer relationships.
  • Maintain and grow business
  • Manage Chemical inventory at customer level and placing chemical orders
  • Communicating and following up chemical orders with Customer Service, Supply Chain and logistics
  • Creating Value Projects for the customers
  • Writing and maintaining Application Manuals for the customers
  • Conduct the necessary site and LMS/classroom training programs to understand the overall operations of the territory plants and new customer sites.
  • Work with local support team to drive value for the customer and document ROI
  • Review current applications and processes/procedures for safety improvements

How to Apply

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Science or other technical degree). Would consider experience in lieu of a technical degree
  • 10 years of industry experience (pulp and paper or water treatment preferred), successful sales or proven track record in the industry
  • Documented results solving complex and non-routine technical problems
  • Project management of complex projects
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Experience learning new concepts and/or technology and applying them
  • Ability to work with autonomy and direct/coach indirect reports
  • Experience working with multi levels in an organization to achieve results
  • Prior experience that required excellent communication skills
  • Documented results using a consultive sales process
