K2 – Curing Line Operator- MAR

We are seeking a K2-Curing Line Operator, this position, is based in our Byhalia Factory location.

The position requires shift flexibility, the shifts are AM and PM, each shift is 12 hours and the days are rotating 2-2-3

Your future team:

K2-Curing Line Operator’s are members of the Production team and report to the Production Supervisor. The ROCKWOOL The Production team is responsible for ensuring the production goals are achieved.

What you bring:

• A high level of concentration
• Ability to operate production equipment in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.
• Experience in machine set-up and computers
• Experience trouble shooting equipment.
• Ability to read and understand written product specifications.
• Drive and understanding key figures and how to maximize output.
• Work well under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Self-motivated with high energy
• Good people skills
• Well organized
• Able to lift 60lbs independently or 120lbs with a colleague.
• Curiosity to learn how to melt stone into lava!

What you will be doing:

• Ensures that product changes are done smoothly with least amount of waste.
• Monitors all production screens with regards to pressures and temperatures
• Addresses all deviations in a proper and timely manner.
• Monitors Cooling zone and determines if filters need to be changed.
• Communicates to the furnace operator.
• The K2-Curing Line Operator is responsible for the running of the production line from the collection drum through to Stacker outlet, including the Recycle System, through the WinCC. This includes, but is not limited to: Curing Oven, Cooling Zone, Afterburner, Line Weights, Binder System and accurate system registration.
• He/she requires granulated wool when needed, in order to reach the maximum amount allowable, provided the product can pass visual and strength restrictions.
