About the position
To act as the primary on-site support for all Mycronic Global Technologies users by diagnosing and solving
user issues, performing network repairs, managing corporate vendors, and engaging the EMEA team &
Corporate (CO IT) resources as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily briefings with CO IT on incidents, user requests, and active projects.
- Process NASA queue helpdesk tickets within the KACE management system, knowing when to
- assign externally.
- Support the administrative functions & user access needs of strategic applications across the GT
- division, including but not limited to Infor VISUAL, Salesforce, M365, SolidWorks, DraftSight.
- Actively engage with HR team to identify recruitments, onboarding, deboarding for effective asset
- Own the procurement and setup of all Dell hardware and workstation peripherals.
- Deploy (and decommission) all computers, tablets, mobile devices per the GT scripted policies.
- Perform device & equipment repairs in accordance with ESD training standards.
- Establish new and maintain existing documentation on divisional policies pertaining to ICT.
- Prioritize network issues identified by the EMEA team and report out findings for closure.
- Understand ESXi/server architecture for development projects as assigned by the EMEA team.
- Support Mycronic’s Security Awareness Training program by checking in with users on status & Configure users & accounts within Active Directory and escalate to EMEA as necessary.
- Manage purchase requisitions pertaining to ICT, including software licenses and additional
- Maintain asset workbook of all Mycronic-owned equipment for auditing purposes.
Experience and Qualifications
- 2-5 years in a help desk function for mid- to large-sized company.
- High school diploma minimum; Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred (Computer Science, Engineering, MIS)
- Strong collaboration skills to work cross-functionally and leverage best practices for information
- technology
Strong communication (written & verbal) and influencing skills
- Ability to work autonomously and plan work aligned to overall ICT strategy
- Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize work
- Software skills: Windows OS, Microsoft O365 apps, Adobe suite, Solidworks, Android, Apple iOS,
- M365 apps, Fortinet Software, SQL (basic), Windows Server Manager, Active Directory management, firewall management, Azure (basic)

Physical Demands: Sitting, standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, operating keyboard, ability to
operate standard hand tools (screwdrivers, tweezers, wrenches, etc.), lift up to 50 pounds, wear safety glasses, follow written instructions
Office Equipment: Provided by Mycronic.
Field and/or Trade Equipment: N/A
Mental Demands: Ability to reason logically and make sound decisions; work effectively & efficiently in fast paced conditions; multitasking; interact appropriately with all team members; exercise sound judgment and
make decisions, escalating when necessary.
Working Conditions: Comfortable office and production facility environment
Travel Requirements: All functions are to be performed on site in Tewksbury.
