Full-Time JDE World Developer

At a Glance
Legrand North America is seeking a talented and motivated JDE World Developer to join their Building Control Systems (BCS) division.
This role will report to the Director of IT for BCS and will be responsible for both the day to day development work of the JDE World ERP as well as the development of strategic initiatives. This role will partner with internal and external resources to support the day to day functionality of the platform.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Development requirements within JDE World ERP system
· Ownership of strategic development initiatives from the business (ie. Enabling Multi Currency functionality, building API integrations between JDE World and other business systems)
· Adhering to JDE World best practices to consult and guide other IT resources and business resources on best practices within the platform
· Modify existing RPG or CL programs when changes are requested
· Analyze business requirements and propose programmatic and/or process solutions
· Maintain and automate all interfaces in and out of JDE World utilizing IBM iSeries tools and JDE tools
· Database management to ensure the integrity of the DB2 relational database management systems for all JDE World as well as custom tables
· Conversion of large batches of data into JDE World using Z-files or custom programs (ie. AR, AP, GL, Inventory Management, Open Sales Orders, Open PO’s)
Qualifications
Required Skills
· Experience in RPG 400, RPG ILE, CL and SQL programming languages on iSeries
· Experience and understanding of JDE World Technical Foundation: DREAM writer, World Writer, system codes, data dictionary, SVR
· Experience and understanding of JD Edwards Financial (AR, AP, GL), Procurement and Manufacturing modules
· Knowledge of DB2 relational database management system and JDE World tables
· Experience in developing complete solutions for interfacing with 3rd party vendors and software to transfer data to/from JD Edwards
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, interfacing well with internal customers at all levels of the organization as well as external vendors
