Homewood Ravensview is a private 75-bed mental health, trauma and addiction facility offering evidence-based, medically-led, inpatient services for first responders, military, veterans, executives & professionals, adults, and young adults. As an IT Support Technician, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team focused on delivering seamless services and programs to our clients and customers.
What you’ll be doing
- Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems and applications
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, hardware and software faults, correcting and replacing parts as needed
- Provide remote support via phone, email and remote diagnostics tools
- Manage and setup Active Directory users, Exchange users, and VPN users
- Use JIRA Service Desk system to create, appropriately manage service requests and document reported issues ensuring timely resolutions to the user satisfaction
- Create and maintain documentation for software installation, configuration and support procedures
- Assist with supporting Microsoft Windows servers and applications, including: Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, application servers and file servers
- Some travel to remote offices may be required
What you bring
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Information Technology operations and/or a combination of education, training and co-op experience.
- Applications: Thorough understanding of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Server Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Suite, VMware, JIRA Service Desk, Bomgar and video conferencing applications
- Hardware: Solid experience with PC hardware, SonicWall, Aruba wireless networking, HP and Dell switches, Mitel phones, mobile phones, HP printers and MFP devices
- College degree or diploma in Information Technology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work on IT projects with multidisciplinary team members
- Demonstrated success providing seamless customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently as well as to contribute actively to team objectives
- Exceptional customer service delivery skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to integrate sustainability into IT operations
- Be accountable and responsible for actions and decisions
