British Triathlon is the internationally recognised governing body for Triathlon, Duathlon and Aquathlon in the UK.
Our continued growth is built on the successful delivery of results through our elite athletes and their medal haul whilst helping everyone to discover, access and enjoy the sport at all levels through our new mass participation initiatives.
We are looking to recruit for this brand new role, following a review of our IT & Web Development needs. This is a very hands on role and you will not only broaden your skills working in this diverse role but you will benefit from working within a flexible and innovative organisation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and delivering a first-class IT service to British Triathlon. They will lead the IT team to plan, design and deliver a robust, secure and resilient IT infrastructure. They will need to ensure a high level of support to both remote and office-based staff across all systems, often actively taking a hands-on role themselves.
You will have strong technical knowledge and understanding of IT infrastructure and IT security best practice and excellent knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, services and products. Also required is extensive experience with SQL, Linux servers, Office365, Networking, Firewalls, VPN, Active Directory and Cloud-based services.
The role will be based at the British Triathlon headquarters located at Loughborough University; however, the nature of the role may require some evening and weekend working and occasional travel.
