Full-Time IT Assistant
Job Description
£31,805-£33,434 per annum, full-time, permanent
This is a great opportunity for you to join our small and friendly IT team as an IT Assistant, based on-site across our premises in Covent Garden, London. In this newly-created role you will have the opportunity to support our staff, students, alumni, governors and contractors with their IT related issues. You will be the first point of contact for all IT users, utilising your communication and technical skills to identify, troubleshoot, log and resolve IT concerns in a timely manner, escalating complex issues to the Head of IT as necessary.
You will work closely with the Head of IT, providing essential technical support and assistance as necessary and assist with the maintenance, troubleshooting, and setup of hardware, software and Audio Visual Systems, as well as assisting faculty staff and students with their technology-related needs.
Can you prioritise and effectively juggle competing demands? Do you have a good understanding of Microsoft Office applications and Office 365 backend administration, plus knowledge of network and operating systems trouble shooting? If you have these skills, together with an understanding of computer networks, hardware and software, we would love to hear from you.
