In this role, you will be responsible for break-fix, escalations from other teams, and Remedy tickets. This position has limited configuration access to equipment.

What you will do to contribute to the company’s success
- Receives, researches, and provides resolution or escalation of remedy and e-mail-based support requests.
- Participates in the deployment and integration of new equipment and applications to support Cable One Network Infrastructure.
- Provides direction and support to field and local office personnel in trouble escalations.
- Works with other departments, teams, and vendors to research and resolve first-tier issues regarding internet product and all Networking components.
- Monitors, maintains, and upgrades Internet circuits and production backbone infrastructure.
- Performs on-call duties as assigned.
- This position has the expectation and responsibility to take on other duties needed to help drive our Purpose, fulfill our Brand Principles, and abide by our Organization’s Values.
Qualifications
- One-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
- Entry level routing and/or optical certification required.
- Associate level routing and/or optical certification preferred.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Must be a self-starter with sound problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Must be flexible and a team player.
