Job Description
Title: Inventory Technician
Job Summary: The Inventory Technician is responsible for processing and fulfilling orders at the dispensary with accuracy and assisting Inventory Specialists with the movement of products from the vault to the sales floor. It is critical that the Inventory Technician possesses exemplary attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask. The Inventory Technician will be expected to prioritize maintaining accurate inventory numbers while conducting day-to-day order fulfillment operations in a timely manner. This role will also assist in daily audits as well as opening and closing procedures. The Inventory Technician must be a self-motivator and someone who takes initiative to identify, report, and communicate problems to the Inventory Specialists in order to help solve and investigate discrepancies within the physical inventory and digital tracking systems. This position reports to the Assistant General Manager of Inventory.

Duties:
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times
- Perform inventory counts, labeling, assurance checks, and quantity verification as needed on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Assist with the Intake of incoming deliveries from Vendors
- Provide opening and closing setup support of sales floor products
- Fulfill orders from multiple sources, including In-Store, Delivery, and Express orders
- Operate software platforms, including but not limited to Lantern, Leaflogix, Dutchie, and METRC
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work area
- View previous customer history/profile & update notes
- Create tags for products and print and label barcodes on products
- Communicate with customers, vendors, and co-workers professionally
- Maintain an understanding of all fulfillment room station assignments to ensure all daily tasks are completed and accurate
- Report all daily issues to the Assistant General Manager of Inventory to take appropriate action
- Process orders within the POS system and verify completed orders ● Follow detailed operating procedures to ensure compliance and client order accuracy
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High School Diploma required
- Industry experience a plus
- Must have worked in Inventory to be considered
- Familiarity with METRC and/or Leaflogix a plus; training will be provided, so at a minimum, the ability to learn and master the programs will be required ● Demonstrable abilities in one or more of the following tracks: receiving, compliance, IT/Technology, and/or procedural development (additional tracks may be added as needed)
- Communication skills (interpersonal, oral, and written)
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data recording
- Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license
● Must be able to obtain proper badging as required by the state of MA ● Must be able to work a flexible schedule: Five (5) shifts per week, typically 8.5 hours per shift; includes nights, weekends, and holidays
