Full-Time Interviewer
Job Description
Summary/Objective
The Interviewer position is responsible for three primary functions: recruiting, scheduling, and interviewing for various clients based on order specifications. Interviewers are tasked with working closely with Staffing Specialists to ensure they are matching quality candidates with job openings. This position is also a supporting role for administrative tasks such as receptionist duties and orientation processing.
Essential Functions
- Maintain applicant flow through placement of ads, development of recruiting sources, and analysis of weekly and monthly recruiting source reports.
- Regularly review work orders and interact with Staffing Specialists and Staffing Supervisors to ensure staffing goals are met.
- Interview candidates for all transactional and project accounts.
- Recruit qualified candidates through online sourcing portals such as the MAU website, Indeed, Craigslist, etc.
- Schedule appointments for interviews, pre-screening assessments, client interviews and orientations.

Required Education and Experience
- 1-3 years of professional work experience
- Experience working with general public

- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Education and Experience
- Staffing industry, manufacturing HR or production supervisor experience a plus
- HR certifications or staffing certifications are a plus
- Experience working with an HRIS
- 2 year degree/Associates degree
Supervisory Responsibility
There are no direct supervisory responsibilities. The highest performers will be team players who are well-versed in mentoring.

Work Environment or Working Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Someone in this position should be comfortable and confident working with challenging applicants.
Physical Demands
This is largely a sedentary role. Some physical requirements are listed below:
- Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours
- Ability to sit for up to 8 hours
- Ability to lift 5- 20lbs periodically and 50lbs on occasion
Travel
This position requires little to no travel.
