Internship Internship Opportunity
Job Description
Seaside Sustainability is a nationally recognized organization dedicated to community engagement, public education, and environmental conservation. We help by promoting public awareness about the importance of environmental health, providing resources to develop problem-solving skills, and chances to get engaged as part of a community to take action. We organize our works and initiatives around these areas: plastic mitigation, marine citizen science, sustainability education, and solar energy in the community. We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our hands-on internship program. The voices of all people matter in the fight for environmental equality and that is why we come to you with the hope that you will join us in this endeavor.
At Seaside Sustainability, inclusivity, equity, and diversity are fundamental parts of who we are. As an organization whose mission is to protect oceans, rivers, and estuaries around the world, we cannot achieve our goal without valuing the voices of all people and perspectives. We understand that diversity, equity, and inclusivity are imperative to the functions of a prosperous organization, and we are committed to continuing to foster an environment that is in line with these values.
Seaside Sustainability suggests that interns complete at least 15 hours per week. There are a variety of teams to apply to within our program. Here is a link from our website where you can find information about our teams: Internship Details (seasidesustainability.org). The internship positions available are un-paid.
