We are currently hiring for the position of:

INTERN, INDUSTRY PROGRAMMING

 

Reporting to the Talent Development Manager, Industry, the Intern, Industry Programming will provide essential administrative support to the Industry Programming team including identification and tracking of talent programme alumni, compilation of programming supportive research and data entry.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research TIFF Talent alumni current projects, award nominations, and funding attained and gather clippings in order to update their profiles
  • Research and identify potential new companies for outreach
  • Prepare research packages on Industry Conference and talent development programme guest speakers
  • Assist in the proofing of publications and web pages related to Industry programming and film professional resources
  • Support invitation process for participants in select Industry programmes
  • Coordinate Project Books, Fellowships and Surveys for talent development programme participants
  • Support auditing the Industry website and the Industry Talent Alumni Directory for regular updates
  • Filing and records management for Industry programmes
  • Create templates and compile date for reporting on Industry initiatives
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as required

 

RATE OF PAY:

  • $15.00/Hourly

 

CONTRACT DATES:

  • July 11, 2022 to September 2, 2022

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent organizational, time management, and research skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, and Google Suite
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, and adapt to changing needs
  • Background in copy generation and promotional writing considered an asset
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Mature personal judgment, and ability to approach difficult situations with high level of  tact and diplomacy
  • Detail oriented, experience with event databases and meticulous record keeping
  • Previous event planning or customer relations experience considered an asset
  • Fluency in a second language considered an asset
  • Ability to work and respond well in fast-paced and high pressure environments with a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
