Internship Intern – Diversity and Inclusion
Job Description
We are seeking a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion intern to join our team. SHL is committed to increasing diversity and fostering a sense of inclusion for its employees. We are taking action to support these objectives both centrally and within individual geographic regions. To support these efforts within SHL Americas, we are hiring a DEI intern to collect data and present findings that will help inform subsequent actions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with SHL DEI Task Force members and other key stakeholders at varying levels and within a variety of functions, e.g., Sales, Professional Services
- Design and conduct a survey to help establish the baseline
- Manage data collection efforts
- Summarize findings and present them to select SHL Americas leadership team members.
- Participate in the process of identifying priority areas and action steps
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree (recently completed or currently pursuing)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organization, multitasking, and prioritization skills
Our Ideal Candidate Also Has/Is:
- Experience with data collection, e.g., survey research, focus groups
- Knowledge of data collection and/or analysis tools, e.g., Qualtrics, SPSS
- Pursuing a degree in I/O Psychology, Social Psychology, or similar
