We need an experienced Solutions Engineer to help our customers improve their security posture. As an Enterprise Solutions Engineer at DomainTools, you will have the opportunity to work with the largest companies in the world to conceptualize and implement new and inventive ways to integrate our products and data within their workflows and systems (SIEM, TIP, SOAR technologies).

You are a talented, driven and insanely curious Solutions Engineer that is focused on helping Enterprise Customers operationalize the DomainTools product suite. You are excited to dive into all aspects of the go-to-market organization at DomainTools to help our teams with presentations, demonstrations and customer trainings and technical support.

As a Solutions Engineer, you will act as the primary technical resource during the sales process working alongside our account representatives to provide support during discovery, demonstration and proof of concept. And, post-sales, you will lead focused trainings, onboarding and education sessions for our customers to help guide implementation of the DomainTools Solutions to unlock advanced capabilities. You will also be a key provider of technical support by triaging escalated customer and prospect issues liaising with our product and engineering teams.

We want a collaborative and energetic individual that can contribute to the Customer Advocacy team and the business, excel in a dynamic environment, deliver messaging and feedback back into the product, engineering and integration organizations and work proactively to drive customer experience.

DomainTools is looking for an experienced Integration Solutions Engineer to help our customers and prospects leverage DomainTools data to find threats on their network.

As an Integration Solutions Engineer, you are a ‘techy that talks’ will work directly with large Enterprise organizations in both a pre- and post-sales capacity to implement DomainTools solutions in their security products. Your expertise working with security products, SIEMs, SOARs, or TIPs will be essential for success, since most engagements will be with companies seeking to leverage DomainTools data in these platforms.

Our product teams are constantly rolling out new integrations that extend proven concepts from existing SIEM, SOAR and TIP platforms, such as Splunk, Elastic, Phantom, Cortex XSOAR,, MISP, Maltego and a host of emerging players in this dynamic market. Your mission will be to get up to speed on those technologies as fast as possible, and then build and execute implementation plans tailored to each platform.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Work directly with large enterprise customers and prospects to integrate DomainTools data and apps into a customer’s existing security tools.
  • Act as a key technical support resource for the DomainTools integration solutions, including troubleshooting and planning workarounds or technical solutions for atypical customer environments.
  • Collaborate with the DomainTools product and engineering teams to define and test new features.
  • Team with DomainTools Sales and Account Management teams to showcase DomainTools value, set up Proof of Value (PoV) and work with prospects and customers on integration specifics.
  • Work closely with Account Managers to help existing DomainTools customers upgrade to new versions.
  • Be diligent in tracking implementations and documenting best practices and lessons learned. Contribute to documentation for both internal teams and an external audience.
  • Ensure excellent service and support for prospects and customers creating long-term business relationships with innovative solutions to push user adoption and maximize the value of our integrations.
  • Deliver technical product presentations and demonstrations including supporting marketing webinars and conference events.
  • Utilize Jira to track all pertinent information related to issues, opportunities and accounts.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years experience with SIEM, SOAR and TIP platforms or other security tools
  • 3 years of current technical consulting experience to Fortune 100 customers during product testing, evaluation, proof-of-concept and production deployments.
  • Holds a current Splunk Core Certified User certification
  • Working knowledge or recent experience with API’s, scripting languages, application development, databases, and analytical tools.
  • Basic knowledge or understanding of Whois & DNS
  • Experience communicating effectively across various teams and disciplines about a product’s technical capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Real-world experience in fighting cyber threats, as an information security practitioner
  • Thorough understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, and networking
  • BA/BS in computer science, computer engineering, or mathematics, MIS degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working in a SOC a plus
