Full-Time Information Systems Specialist
Job Description

The Health District is seeking an Information Systems Specialist with strong technical experience, excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Working with the Information Systems/Network Manager, will perform a variety of computer systems administration and support tasks, including analyzing, constructing, documenting, testing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting use of PC hardware, operating systems, software applications, peripherals, and communication devices including hand-held devices for the entire organization.
Pay Range and Status
- $61,052 to $67,084 per year DOQ
- 40 hrs/wk

Qualifications
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field strongly preferred; will consider equivalent education and experience.
- The ideal candidate will also have a combination of at least five years of professional experience and excellent skills in the following areas: information systems project management; advanced Help Desk support; proficiency with Windows 10 & 11 Professional, MS Server 2012-2019, Active Directory, Group Policy management; experience with VMware deployment and administration; DOS and Powershell scripting experience; and web development and website maintenance experience.
- Must comply with infection control policies for this position.
Key Responsibilities
The Information Systems Specialist:
- Assists the Information Systems/Network Manager by performing a variety of computer systems administration and support tasks.
- Performs a variety of project tasks and requires good communication skills.
- Exercises judgement and decision making in the diagnosis and resolution of computer and software problems.
