Who are we looking for?

The Information Security Manager is a champion and advocate in continuing the progress of maturing security throughout the organization by leading and implementing key security initiatives and mitigating risk across internal and client-facing systems, products, operations, policies, and processes. Ensures Wi-Tronix stays current, and ultimately ahead of, emerging trends in Information Security which could or will affect the Wi-Tronix products and services.  Building and continually enhancing a stable and scalable security infrastructure are expected to contribute to Wi-Tronix’s competitive edge in the market. 

Compliance & Controls 

• Lead in developing responses to internal & external audits, penetration tests and vulnerability assessments 
• Achieve and maintain security certifications and acceptable levels of compliance by enforcing internal controls and ensuring constant updates of security policies, procedures, technical standards  
• Design, implement, and test security controls and manage the operational aspects of security infrastructure 

Project & Operational Management 

• Architect, implement and test new security solutions controls while managing the operational aspects of security infrastructure in a highly operational and complex environment 
• Perform project leadership tasks on security projects including development of requirements, evaluation of solutions, security certifications, and selection and implementation of products 
• Foster and sustain user adoption of security practices across the Wi-Tronix end-user base through constant training and instruction 
• Position holder is accountable for control activities that operate under their direct supervision 

Security Leadership 

• Provide strategic and operational technical leadership around security tools to balance scalability, stability, cost, robustness, flexibility, and ongoing support requirements 
• Research and evaluate current and emerging technologies in support of security enhancement and development efforts 
• Act as the primary lead for the security operational metrics, prepare the recurring and ad hoc management and executive level reporting, and make actionable recommendations where appropriate 
• Leverage certifications, industry standards, and value-added process controls to improve the organization’s security readiness 

Incident Response, Prevention & Recovery 

• Develop, maintain, and continually enhance the organization’s disaster recovery and incident response programs 
• Manage security investigations and implementation of corrective actions; identify preventive measures as necessitated 
• Conduct random and scheduled security testing to identify, document, and address instances of non-compliance regarding information security standards 

What will you need?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or combined degree and relevant experience; advanced studies and security certifications highly desired
• 7+ years in an information security position with 3+ years providing hands-on technical leadership in cyber security design and architecture, ideally for SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) or IoT (Internet of Things)
• Demonstrated experience developing and testing security controls, implementing risk mitigation processes, and enforcing organization-wide security policies
• Advance skills in developing and writing controls
