Job Description
Long Term Contract for an Import/Export Analyst
Start Time (AM/PM) 6:30 am but flexible
End Time (AM/PM) 3:30 pm but flexible
Support internal customers in coordinating the inbound shipment process. Ensure that all related documentation and record keeping is compliant with U.S. Import Regulations. Position requires knowledge of import logistics, international freight forwarding, use of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule, approving Proforma Invoices, classifying commodities according to HTS, determining Country of Origin, maintaining updated FDA and PGA data, maintain Inbound/ Shipment Log and electronic filing system, shipment tracking and follow up, Logistics coordinating/assistance, Compliance/Audit, Audit Customs Broker entries, provide data for corrections as needed, and run/analyze ACE Reports for accuracy. 4-6 yrs. exp. Bachelor’s Degree, Licensed Customs Broker, or Certified Customs Specialist preferred.
