Base salary
$110,000/yr – $125,000/yr – Hybrid role
About the Role
The Human Resources Manager will serve as a key business partner to build the infrastructure needed to facilitate a rapidly growing business. The ideal professional will be ready to roll up their sleeves and bring their creative energy to build a dynamic team culture and provide day-to-day support to our employees and leadership team. The Human Resources Manager will also understand the importance of workforce flexibility and take on the challenge of building connections with remote team members to maintain a cohesive company culture. Most importantly, this person will also support the founders in developing and executing a plan to fulfill the company’s diversity, equity and inclusion objectives in all aspects of its activities, from recruiting to business development and operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all HR activities for NineDot inclusive of hiring/recruiting, analyze compensation and ensure market competitiveness
- Create and maintain HR programs to support a rapidly growing team, support the executive leadership in building a value-driven culture
- Maintain and enhance employee benefits program
- Drive HR processes and controls across the business
- Document and ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements
- Develop an employee handbook and employee onboarding process
- Bridge employees and management relations by serving in a consultative role to provide coaching, guidance, and sound judgment in addressing business/employee challenges and needs
- Develop and manage employee performance review process to create a transparent environment for providing feedback, as well as nurturing opportunities for mentorship and professional development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 years in human resources, industry experience with start-ups/emerging companies a plus
- Extensive knowledge of HR policies and systems
- Familiarity with payroll systems and employee benefit programs
- Experience with Google and MS Office productivity suites
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Adept at problem-solving and conflict resolution
