Full-Time HubSpot Trainer
Job Description
IMPACT is a digital sales and marketing education company that empowers its clients to take control of their own marketing destiny. IMPACT is not like other agencies. In fact, we believe that the traditional agency-client relationship is flawed. Too often, businesses are trapped in a never-ending cycle of dependency, paying an agency to complete inbound marketing tasks they could do themselves.
Instead of this dependency, we focus on education and autonomy. We train our clients to become free of any agency, including ours.
We do this by leveraging and implementing the They Ask, You Answer business philosophy.
How the HubSpot Trainer fits in:
Many companies that use the HubSpot platform outsource its setup, daily use and/or maintenance to an outside agency. When their agency relationship inevitably ends, there is a major gap in both the knowledge of how the portal is set up and functioning, as well as in the technical skills needed to manage and maintain the portal.
So how do companies know if they are truly utilizing HubSpot to its fullest potential and safeguard themselves from not understanding how the tool is set up?
In working with you, their HubSpot trainer.
As a HubSpot trainer, you will be responsible for training (oftentimes entry-level) digital marketing managers or specialists, as well as seasoned sales teams, on how to best leverage HubSpot within their organization.
You won’t be doing the work for them, but rather teaching and enabling them to do the work for themselves. This involves everything from teaching technical skills (how to use a specific tool or functionality) to coaching on bigger-picture strategy (how to set up and use HubSpot effectively based on an organization’s specific needs and goals).
Ultimately, you are helping transform the digital marketing manager/specialist into a critical resource within their company so their team can use HubSpot to attribute true ROI for the work being done to help grow the business.
Location: This is a remote position. Connecticut residents will be prioritized, but the position is open to anyone within the United States to apply.
Salary Range: $75,000 – $90,000 based on experience.
Requirements:
- Do you have experience in coaching, teaching, or managing others?
- Do you possess the ability to relate to people, form relationships, earn trust, and find a need you can help solve?
- Are you resilient — do you embrace challenges and find excitement in solving them?
- Do you have an inherent “drive” where you can take the desired outcome and take the initiative to figure out the rest?
- Can you consider multiple ways to solve a problem, be decisive, and take action quickly?
- Do you feel comfortable giving direction to a CEO and then ensuring they’re set up for success?
- Do you see yourself as part of a team and working as a team toward a common goal?
- Do you love inbound marketing / digital marketing?
- Do you love HubSpot? Do you love finding solutions for both simple and sophisticated HubSpot problems, limitations, and use cases?
- Do you have in-depth knowledge of the HubSpot CRM, Salesforce and other CRM technologies?
- Do you love helping companies and teams grow and achieve results?
- Are you tech-savvy? Do you know how to use Zoom, Slack, Basecamp, and a CRM, and/or can learn a new tool quickly?
If you said “yes” to the questions above, you could be exactly who we’re looking for!
In this role, you will:
- Train digital marketers and/or sales teams to become self-sufficient in owning the HubSpot tool (and possibly other CRMs) for their organization
- Help set actionable goals for digital marketers and/or sales teams to achieve every 90 days, and then train those individuals on what they need to do in order to achieve their goals
- Coach digital marketers and/or sales teams on how to remove roadblocks often found in creating streamlined sales processes and effective marketing assets
- Teach how to leverage HubSpot when creating conversion paths, managing leads and data, getting sales team adoption, building reports, etc. as it aligns with the They Ask, You Answer business philosophy
- Hold clients accountable for completing the required work
- Create marketing and sales heroes at your clients’ companies and help them grow their business
- Become one of IMPACT’s in-house HubSpot and CRM gurus – a go-to resource for both clients and team members on how to effectively use the platform (both strategically and technically)
The ideal candidate:
- Has previously held a leadership role (manager, teacher, coach, etc)
- Has implemented HubSpot (Marketing and Sales Hubs) at a previous organization and trained its team members on how to leverage the tool
- Has in-depth technical knowledge of how the HubSpot CRM works, how to use tools across all hubs, and how to teach others those same skills
- Is an active member of IMPACT+, our online learning platform
- Has read They Ask, You Answer by Marcus Sheridan*
*At IMPACT, we use the popular digital sales and marketing methodology created by Marcus Sheridan called They Ask You Answer. The best candidates for this position are familiar with this methodology and have successfully used it to drive more traffic, leads, and sales
