POSITION SCOPE

The HR Systems Administrator manages the HR information system (HRIS) and the internal HR SharePoint site to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of the department’s strategic data and information management vision. This position assesses process design and flows to appropriately set up and leverage the return on technological capability. Serves as a technical subject matter expert for the HRIS and SharePoint systems and is accountable for ensuring data integrity, system implementation, changes, and upgrades and assessing workflows for process improvement opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Primary business lead and point of contact for HR systems maintenance, configuration management, access management, data quality management, mass data uploads, etc.
  • Hands-on configuration, administration, and management of HR systems, including the core HR/Payroll system, time and attendance, performance, recruiting, onboarding, and learning.
  • Provide input and thought leadership for driving HR technology and solutions that will help embed and underpin HR initiatives and the People agenda of the wider business.
  • Assist in developing HR technology policies and procedures, ensuring alignment of business rules, data security & privacy principles, and enforcing compliance in key areas.
  • Manage ongoing internal and vendor relationships, ensuring SLAs are met, and system updates are effectively managed.
  • Effectively manage HR technology-related risk in partnership with the IT and Risk Management teams.
  • Manage all aspects of the testing, implementation, reporting, and end-user training and support for assigned HR systems.
  • Implements upgrades to HRIS, ensuring appropriate testing is completed, problems are resolved, and identified goals are met according to established timetables.
  • Ensure system accuracy and data integrity through audit checks, security maintenance, upgrade impact reviews, and creation.
  • Develops processes that optimize the usability and reporting capabilities of the system.
  • Write, maintain, and support a variety of reports and queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools.
  • Manage vendor support cases.
  • Understand and prioritize internal customer needs and respond appropriately to support requests.
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise in system administration best practices.
  • Serves as the administrator for the Human Resources page on the Maltiverse SharePoint intranet site.
  • Participates in departmental audits and projects and assists in preparing metrics, reports, and presentations as directed.
  •  SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Human Resources concepts, practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of HR and Payroll related processes, rules, and regulations.
  • High level of experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Publisher, & Outlook); SharePoint experience preferred.
  • Able to work in a self-directed, organized manner
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask while maintaining a strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to present information in a consistent, organized, and accurate manner
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ingenuity in reaction to change
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships across the organization at various levels and with external customers.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Several years of HRIS, ATS, and Payroll Applications experience with platform administration and configuration.
  • Solid understanding of technical concepts required for business solution design and delivery, including business processes and workflows
  • Payroll processing experience is preferred

COMPENSATION
We provide a competitive salary range of $79,000 to $110,000 annually, complemented by an extensive benefits package.
