£41,909 – £44,175 per annum

37 hours per week

The working pattern is Monday to Thursday 7.5 hours per day, Friday 7 hours per day

52 weeks per annum

Abingdon and Witney College are looking for a highly professional, experienced HR Manager to delivery an effective, high quality, customer focussed, varied HR advisory and support service to the College. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will be working in partnership with department and faculty management teams to provide specialist, front line HR support. The role involves the line management of the Casework and Day to Day HR operations (such as recruitment and staff development), as well as strategic support as part of the HR Management Team.

Key duties include providing professional and timely advice to support and coach line managers and employees on a range of employment lifecycle issues in a proactive and solution focused manner, ensuring that HR policies and procedures are consistently followed.

The successful candidate will be a qualified member of the CIPD, have experience of managing a caseload of employee relations issues, involvement in recruitment and training, and first line management experience, as well as having the skills to be able to manage a high workload, with accuracy.
